Silky O’Sullivans on Beale Street

Silky O’Sullivans.com
Memphis, Tennessee

One of my oldest client, (started with us in 1996) needed a revision of their website. They needed to show that Silky’s is a great place to have a great time as well as hear some great music. They also serve great food. We linked pdfs of their current and kids menus so it can change quickly. With local Blues artist Barbra Blue and their famous Dueling Pianos which featured some of the best talent Memphis has to offer over the years, Silky’s on Beale street is a Memphis Landmark hands down. They have been one of the unofficial ambassador for Memphis and our Ribs! Thier site includes a slideshow to show some of the events happening at Silky’s as well as a Paypal shopping cart system. We use photo of the waitress staff and photos from inside to show off the interesting atmosphere found at Silky’s. We also linked to flickr where people from all over the world have posted images from Silkys when they have visited them! And yes we have a photo of the famous Goat! I am happy to have the privilege to serve Joellyn and Dennis for these many years and am happy to be still serving thier Internet/Website needs!

Memphis Songwriters Association: 30 years and going strong!

Memphis Songwriters Assocation
Memphis, Tennessee

Some great Memphis history comes with the Memphis Songwriters Association. We included a blog and RSS feed to help get the information out about the songwriting events and showcases they sponsor. members can subscribe to the feed and get the latest information as well as the feed is brought into the homepage of the website. This is something they can update at anytime through any web browser. We also are providing them POP3 email accounts for their members. We also added a membership database. One of the unique features I did was to make multiple expanding headers. These are to accommodate the wider screens being purchase. There are three different headers showing parts of Memphis. One showing as glimpse of the pyramid, the second showing parts of Sun Studio and the Phillips street sign, another parts of Beale Street and the last showing parts of Staxx (Which is tied into the MSA history). All of which who a bright clear sky with the sun breaking through the clouds. My feeling that the future of Memphis and it’s musicians and songwriters is bright and clear and beginning a new chapter in this needed artform!
